We are so excited for you to be apart of Elam Hall this year. So many opportunities await you just outside of this dorm.

Get involved and be active! There are so many things available for you to become apart of on Lipscomb’s campus. Aside from being a resident in this dorm, we encourage you to join many other things on campus.

Freshman year is a time when academically you don’t have too much going on, so take advantage of this time. You are new here, so don’t be afraid to try everything out. You can always respectfully decline to be apart of something later on if you find yourself over-committed or drowning in school work.

There are so many different ways to get plugged in on campus. Student Government Association, Campus Ministry, Campus Recreation, Theatre, clubs specific to your major, clubs that have nothing to do with your major, and just about everything in between!

If none of those seem to fit what you are looking for, become more involved in Elam. Start a bible study or help plan an event with your RA or even check out what’s happening on Elam’s Calendar.

We hope that you will find your home in so many other places on campus besides just a room in Elam. If you ever feel like you aren’t connecting and need somewhere to plug in, reach out and ask! Any RA would be so happy to help you find where you belong on this campus
