- Where do I go if I lose my fob?
First, check the front desk to see if a Hall Assistant has received a lost fob. Next, contact your RHD to purchase a new fob. Replacement fobs cost $50.
2. What time is curfew?
Curfew is only applied to freshmen residents. Sunday through Thursday, curfew is at 12:00 a.m. Friday and Saturday, curfew is at 1:00 a.m. Curfew is subject to change second semester or if you have 30 credit hours. Approval is necessary for a freshman resident with sophomore credit hours.
3. What happens if I miss curfew?
Be sure to check in with your RA if you believe you are going to miss curfew. Otherwise, you will be contacted by your RHD, and consequences will be handled from her authority.
4. Do I have to sign out to go home/out of town?
Only freshmen have to sign out to stay outside of the residence hall. Sign out sheets are located at the front desk in Elam lobby.
5. Are males allowed in Elam Hall?
Males are only allowed in the lobby, unless “Open Dorm” has been scheduled for that evening. “Open Dorm” schedules will be posted by the RA team throughout the dorm each semester.
6. What do I do when something breaks in my room?
There is a maintenance form you can fill out that is hanging outside of the RHD’s office in Elam lobby. Fill this out, and your problem will be fixed as soon as possible.
7. Where do I go to throw out my trash?
The dumpsters for Elam Hall are located behind the sand volleyball court near Lipscomb Academy. Please do not throw trash away in the bathrooms.
